These Terms and Conditions are the Lottery Rules. By entering the lottery, entrants agree to be bound by these rules. 

• This lottery is being promoted by and on behalf of FACT (Fighting All Cancers Together).

• For the purpose of the Gambling Act 2005, this lottery is defined as a ‘Society Lottery.’ 

• This lottery is licensed by The Gambling Commission. 

• To enter the lottery, you must be resident in Great Britain and aged 18 or over. Trustees and Directors of FACT are not eligible to enter. 

• There will be ONE guaranteed MONTHLYwinner, although additional prizes could be offered from time to time.

• Lottery Tickets are priced at £1 and are subscription based. Silver and Gold subscriptions attract free entries and are priced as follows;
1. ‘Bronze’ (£1)=1 entry in draw
2. ‘Silver’(£5)=6 entries in draw (5 paid entries plus 1 free)
3. ‘Gold’(£10)= 14 entries in draw (10 paid entries plus 4 free)

On first entry into the lottery you will be signed up to a monthly subscription service with payments being taken on the monthly anniversary of first sign up. You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us in writing, or via email. The member will then receive an email confirming that their membership has been cancelled. Tickets will be entered into the next eligible draw following payment.

• All lottery entry sales are final and no refunds shall be made at any time. All entrants acknowledge that their payment to enter the lottery does not guarantee that they will win any prize. 

• The draw for the prizes will be made at our Company’s premises on the last Thursday of every month. You do not need to be present at the draw to win the lottery. 

• The prize value will be equal to 25 percent of the total profit from subscription payments made within the current draw period. 

• A list of winners will appear on our FACT website and Social Media platforms, which may include anonymised data.

• All prize monies will be made payable using BACS 

• FACT reserves the right in exceptional and unforeseen circumstances to substitute any of the non-cash prizes acquired for the lottery for a similar prize at FACT absolute discretion. 

• Full payment for each entry must be received before being entered into the draw. Only entries for which full payment has been received are eligible to win the prize. 

• Winners will be notified in writing. All entrants are solely responsible for providing FACT with their accurate and up-to-date contact details and FACT will in no way be liable for any failure or inability to contact any entrant due to any errors, omissions or inaccuracies in the contact details that the entrant has provided. In the event that an entrant changes their contact details, they will be solely responsible for advising FACT of the change. 

• By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to take part in promotional activity and FACT reserves the right to use the name and address of the winner, their photograph and audio and/or visual recordings of them in any publicity including press, web, digital and social media unless prior notification has been received from the winner that they do not wish to participate in these activities. 

• FACT shall not be liable to the member for any loss or damage suffered or arising from;

• any delays or failures in the delivery methods used by FACT or the member from time to time;

• any delays or failures in any software or other systems used by FACT for the administration of the lottery; 

• any delays or failures in the Banking system used by FACT or the member; 

• any refusal by FACT to accept registration of an individual as a member or the cancellation of a member; 

• any failure to enter a chance into the draw. 

• Nothing within these terms and conditions shall create or should be construed as creating any form of contract between any entrant andFACT.

• Any complaints relating to the lottery should be sent in writing to FACT giving full details of the complaint and supporting documentation. 

• FACT is committed to protecting the member’s privacy. 

• Data that is collected from the member is used lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By playing the FACT Lottery, you will receive communication from the FACT regarding administration of the lottery. 

• Any member has the right to access the information held about them. To obtain this information, please contact FACT in writing. 

• FACT will not sell, rent or grant access of any personal data to any third party without express prior permission. 

• In the event of any dispute regarding the rules, the decision of FACT shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into. 

• FACT reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. If FACT does this, it will publish the amended rules via the FACT website www.fact-cancersupport.co.uk and will also notify players that the rules have been amended. 

• FACT reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these rules. 

• FACT is responsible for the promotion of the lottery

• FACT shall not be liable to you in contract, tort, and negligence or otherwise for any indirect or consequential loss suffered by you in relation to your participation in the Lottery (including loss of the opportunity to enter the Lottery and/or the chance of winning a prize). 

• Each entrant should retain a copy of these Terms and Conditions for their reference. This lottery is a form of gambling. Participants are encouraged to gamble sensibly.
