Volunteer At FACT

Volunteers are vital to FACT.  

They are an essential part in helping us provide a wide range of services, free of charge, to anyone affected by cancer.  No matter what time you have or what skills you have, FACT Cancer Support can offer you a special and rewarding volunteer opportunity.  We have a range of volunteer roles available at our Charity Shops in Blaydon and Sunderland, and at our Pelaw office.

What roles are available?

Shop Volunteers:
Can you spare any time to volunteer in our shop ?  Morning and afternoon shifts available for shop floor retail assistants.  Flexible shifts available for stock control assistants.  A great opportunity to meet and make friends !  See our Shop page for contact details.

Fundraising and Events Volunteers:
Our fundraising events help to raise awareness of FACT as well as raising essential funds.  We always need enthusiastic volunteers to help at our fundraising and support events.  Being a fundraising volunteer is rewarding, a great way to meet new people and it is a lot of fun!

What does FACT expect from me as a volunteer?
